Strain Description ： 1. This strain was generated by microinjection of C57BL/6J embryos with Tek*-RFP-IRES-cre transgene (BAC-based).
2. The promoter is mouse Tek gene.
3. RFP,-cre is inserted in exon3 of Tek and sequence from intron 7 to stop codon are            removed.
4. Cre is expressed in cerebrum, cerebellum, heart, lung, Harderian gland(weak), liver, small intestine(weak), and brown fat (weak).
5. The expression pattern of cre is different from RMRC13128 C57BL/6-Tg(Tek-RFP,-            cre)3Narl.
