Strain Description ：
1. 
A targeting scheme was designed using CRISPR/Cas9 to generate a null allele by targeting B2M gene. The B2M mutation has 2 nucleotides deletion in exon 2 that causes a frame shift and premature truncation.
2.  This B2M mutant was backcrossed to NOD.Cg-PrkdcscidIl2rgem1Narl/Narl (RMRC13427) for one generation before intercrossing to establish the homozygous mutant colony.
3.  PrkdcscidIl2rgem1NarlB2Mem1Narlmutant allele caused the severe combined immune deficiency mutation (scid), IL2 receptor gamma chain deficiency, the MHC class I molecule (B2M) deficiency and postpone the occurrences of resistant to graft versus host disease (GVHD). They provide a useful model for studying the mechanism of GVHD and to evaluate therapeutic agents.
