Strain Description ： The targeting vector contained mutant sequence in the proximal SF-1 binding site of Cyp11a1 (TAGCCTTGA was replaced with TAGaaTTGA), an insertion of theloxP-flanked neo gene in intron 1, was introduced in to 129 embryonic stem cells by homologous recombination followed by blastocyst injection. The neo gene was removed by EIIa-cre-mediated recombination. This strain has been backcrossed to BALB/c for more than ten generation.
